Week 52, 2010 training summary

THIS was an amazing week.  Not only did I close out 2010 with an amazing 1,701.88 miles, when my goal for the year was 1,500, I also put in 75 miles of running this past week which was a new high for me.  Never in my life did I ever think I would run this many miles in a single week as I prepare for my first 100 mile ultra in a mere 47 days.  I will continue to grow my weekly miles until mid-February and peak at 86 before the taper.

I am not sure what my goals will be for 2011, but I am thinking of 2011 in 2011.  I will think about it over the next few days and then post something.

Awesome numbers, Adam! Congrats on an excellent 2010. I’m anxious to see how your 100 miler goes (as well as your whole year). Good luck with your training!

Outstanding numbers, Adam! Easily, you can hit 2011 miles for 2011. Careful, though – I had a goal of 2010 for 2010… just saying!
