Week 14, 2011 training summary

Well, after a few days of getting that terrible MiO out of my system (see last weeks post) I am finally feeling better and could really start to run at normal speed again, even in the 86 degree temps we have had in Florida lately.  This week felt much better, and my speed is starting to climb again.

I tried something new this week.  While the family and I were at the beach over the weekend I decided to try a bit of swimming in the ocean.  Nothing too grand, but I did get in about 200 meters.  You tri people out there please don’t laugh…200 meters, while not super tough, was more challenging than I thought in the ocean.
